[/b]: Alessa was born into a dismal life to the town but thankfully these we're the years that were best. Too young to understand the darkest parts of the world she lived in, all Alessa knew was her mother's love.

Childhood: Her early childhood ears was the moments she began to realize what she was born into. Exceptionally bright for her young age, she was extremely observant. Just three years old, she knew the world for what it was. Being forced to play midwife for her mother at the tender age of five, Alessa saw it as her duty. It was something that she had to do.

From that point forward, she took care of and protected her brother the best she could. Then everything changed. She was only ten when one of the men who visited her mother found her and Nyk while they were hiding out in the woods. That day was the start of a chain of events that would gradually and drastically change her.

Adolescence: In the blink of an eye, she found herself living her mother's life. Her mother's living nightmare had become hers and at first it destroyed her. She was very content in just letting herself waste away. These years were the darkest of her year and paved way for her hatred to grow underneath her fear and resignation.

When she learned of Nyk's method of vengeance, she was proud of him. At that time, she had been beaten down enough to have confidence in her own abilities. She was weak and pathetic. She accepted that, but Nyk didn't have to be. So she encouraged his devious behavior, a decision that proved dangerous for everyone when the furious fathers of his victims came for justice. That moment was the most helpless she had ever felt. She wanted to help her mother and brother but she was too terrified to try. She just stood and cried as she watched.

Adulthood: After the brutality faded away, Alessa's courage and confidence came back. She began to change for what seemed to be for the better. She left the house more and explored the forest like she had as a child. It was almost as if her adolescence came back with a vengeance.
When she was offered vampirism she took it. She didn't even have to think about it. While she wasn't afraid anymore, she wasn't delusional. She was weak and the men could always come back. If her mother couldn't fend them off, she had no hope in the world. She wanted to be strong and powerful. She let the man turn her and kept it herself for a while, only telling her brother about a week later. He took care of her and she depended on him to do so.

When he betrayed her trust, it crushed her. Her personality had always been rather extreme and as a vampire it just got a thousand times more intense. She was furious and snapped, turning against his will. It was an act she never regretted but one he instantly hated her for. He abandoned her, which was the very thing she had feared. She was entirely alone and whatever left of her humanity died.

Now alone, Alessa let her hatred and darkness consume her. Her love for her brother twisted into a dark obsession where she could still acknowledge she loved him one second and wish him dead brutally and painfully the next. Brutal, ruthless, and sadistic, Alessa has no remorse or sympathy for humans. Seeing them as pets at best and nuisances at worst, they don't live long in her company. The men don't live happy if they last longer than a meal[/ul]
