Daemons are considered beings that are neither completely human or divine; but something in between. Quite commonly are they confused with Fae or creatures of the Faery realm, and though they share a few similarities, they are in fact completely different. To be a daemon is to be cursed, and since humans are the only species susceptible to curses, daemons make up the majority of the myths and legends surrounding some of our more famously known, and dangerous, stories of human transformation into monsters. The Fae are a genus of several species and sub-species of entities that predate human creation. Some are seen as tiny, winged creatures in the form of a beautiful woman while others take on a much more human like appearance, and some, like Leprechauns and Gnomes, are a variation of the two. Because of the many different types of Fae there is little similarities between the species besides a few basic weaknesses and abilities. Temperament and species-specific abilities can and have been known to vary greatly, but as a community they are a tight knit group that look out for each other and will do anything to keep their secret hidden from humans. Gifted humans come in many interpretations and variations, perform different levels and forms of magic, but all can amount to one thing: their natural ability to use magic. Magic then becomes a means of weaving new strands and patterns that alter or enhance the desires of the user. Every Witch, Warlock, or Magi can channel and control their magic differently.
