[/u] – For those lucky people he cares about, Kyr would die to keep them safe at all costs. He is far from a coward, and has never been known to back down.
BITTER – Once the happiest man in the world, he has since become bitter and cynical towards life. Ever since the accident, he has found nothing to lighten him up inside. His sense of humor seems to have died with his family.
UNFORGIVING – If he feels significantly wronged, he tends to hold it against the ones involved. He has never been known to let go of a grudge.
STOIC – He is extremely at pushing his emotions aside or at the very least hide them from the outside world. He rarely shows what he's feeling, believing it to be a sign of weaknesses. Aside from the positive emotions he once shared with his friends and family, the only time he ever truly lost it was after the accident.
STUBBORN – Once his mind is made up, there is no changing it. He does as he wishes and no one's say holds any weight.
INTELLIGENT – Kyr has tendency to come off as a pretty boy with money (though he doesn't have nearly as much as he used to nowadays), but he is actually really smart. He knows what he's talking about and is careful to do his research.
LOYAL – If he counts you among his friends, he is likely to always have your back unless he feels you slighted him in some way.
CHIVALROUS – Whether or not he comes off as flirtatious with things he says or does, Kyr is very much one of the world's few honest ladies men. He isn't looking for anything except to make a woman feel good about herself when he can.
POLITE – As with his chivalrous nature, he holds manners high and always presents himself accordingly.
MANIPULATIVE – He has the skills to talk his way out of anything and even make or trick people into seeing things his way. He usually doesn't do this intentionally or maliciously but he does do it frequently to make things go his way when he wants it to.
BROKEN – The majority of his physical wounds from the accident may have healed, but the emotional scars and pain still stand strong. Ever since that day, he has lost his faith in the people around him. If his own brother could betray him, why wouldn't someone else?
UNTRUSTING – After the accident, he lost his faith in his family, especially his brother. Leaving Hallow Oaks to live completely on his own, he learned most people will turn their back on their own mothers for the right price. For this reason as well as an inward fear of possibly falling for another woman (thus replacing Emily in his mind), he keeps everyone his life at a distance.
SERIOUS – Though Kyr used to have a sense of humor, he has long since lost his will to find any situation remotely funny. Even his smiles have become false with his new cynical view of life.
CONFIDENT – While not particularly cocky or arrogant, he believes in his strengths and abilities and is aware of his weaknesses enough to feel comfortable in his own skin in most situations.[/ul]

Abilities:

[/u] – he can get into the head of animals and basically make them to do his bidding. When linked to the animal, he has the ability to use their senses. He can see and hear what they do, making it a perfect way to spy on people he wants to get information on. His signature is usually a crow or raven, but he has been known to control others for access or amusement.
PROJECTION – Basically he can manipulate one into seeing something that isn't really there. Basically creating illusions by manipulating the eyes of his victims so what they perceive as what they're really seeing is nothing more than the trick of the eye.
DANGER SENSE – Kyrian has a talent for perceiving dangerous situations that almost always end in death.
TELEKINESIS – he can move things with his mind.
SHADOW MANIPULATION – he can manipulate shadows to his advantage, creating working weapons (that even appear to be real, though the coloration of such weapons tend to be darker than normal) as well as diversions or even hiding him from sight.[/ul]

Ability Weaknesses:

[/u] – he can only control one animal at a time and he has to have touched the animal first in order to link himself to them. During the time he's controlling the animal, he's basically in a trance that leaves him vulnerable to attack.
PROJECTION – he can cast a single manipulation that anyone can see so long as they are in the radiusof the magic. He has never extended any further than the size of a football stadium. This power takes immense concentrations and the further he extends or the more people this ability targets, the more draining it will be. For example, if he decided to manipulate what people were seeing at the high school football game, he would only be able to hold it for a short time before passing out from the strain.
DANGER SENSE – he cannot see what the situation is in detail and therefore he never knows what precisely will happen or who will die so he cannot stop it from happening. It is also an extremely unreliable ability. He cannot force it to work it just happens, particularly in regards to goes he is somehow connected to, either caring for them or just related to him.
TELEKINESIS – he can only move things in his line of sight and nothing larger than a standard car. He can also only move one thing at a time.
SHADOW MANIPULATION – this ability is very draining and the more shadow he tries to manipulate at one time, the faster he loses energy. The brighter the light around him the harder it is for him to hold the shadows together, potentially making their solidity significantly weaker or even impossible[/ul]

History: Kyrian was born the oldest of this generation of Fays. From birth, he was destined to take his father's place as head of the house. As a child, he was obedient and always accepted his fate. Even when Colin was born. He took the responsibilities that came with the title of big brother seriously. He was close to the younger boy and cared for him when their parents were busy. It was until he reached high school that Kyr realized there was more to life than just duty.

Barely sixteen, Kyrian met a witch named Emily Byrnes. She wasn't a member of the founding families and was one of the few that hadn't grown up in town. She fascinated Kyrian for many reasons. The main one was the fact that she had no clue who he was or his family's reputation in the town. It was refreshing to say the least. Of course it was slightly irritating when he found his arrogance and charm didn't work on her like the others. She didn't give him his way just because he demanded it or asked for it. She made him work for it all.

It didn't take long for him to fall for her and by eighteen, he proposed to her. Married at nineteen, he became a father at twenty-one. Everly was his pride and joy and he was happiest in those first few years. All that changed when his family decided to try an old family spell. Kyrian had the worst feeling once he learned of it. He told Colin about his worries and asked his brother to help him stop the others from trying it out. Since Kyrian was not the head of house yet, he had no real say in the matter and without Colin backing him up, his words fell on deaf ears.

Kyrian's worst nightmare came to pass when he was the only one to refuse to join in on the spell. He watched on the sidelines as the magic energy pulsed and hummed around them until it seemed to explode outward. It knocked Kyr flat on his ass. He looked up just in time to see Emily and Everly rush toward him, but to his horror a second blast sent his girls flying. Right before his eyes, he watched his world end. Stricken with rage and grief, he lashed out on his whole family, especially his brother. That night he left the house and the town behind.

At first, Kyr lived in Emily's home town for a few months. He was depressed and angry and had a bad habit of picking fights in bars. He bought a boat and fixed it up to his liking however and after that, he moved into it and just lived in it. He named it after his daughter and chose to honor his wife by living her dream of traveling For ten years, that was exactly what he did. After hearing his brother had become Head, however, Kyrian has returned to Hallow Oaks. This is out of both curiosity and also something much more important, paying his respect to his late wife and daughter.
