Class: Veterinarian, Protector of the Forests
Age: Ancient
Birthday: Unknown
Birthplace: Ancient Ireland
Hometown: Ancient Ireland

Likes:
- Nature. Mainly forests and various woodlands.
- Animals. Big or small, no matter the type.
- Her children. She has many daughters, and one son, and she loves them all to the ends of the earth.
- Ice Cream. She has an unhealthy (well, not for her) obsession with ice cream that she just can't shake.
- Art. She loves to do anything artistic, especially if she gets to be outside while she does it!
- Earthy Colors. Greens, golds, browns, creams, greys, and blacks are her favorite colors. These are the colors she wears the most often, as well.
- Archery. One of her favorite past times as well as one of her greatest hunting skills, she loves to spend her time with bow and arrow in hand.
- Flowers. Flidais loves every kind of flower. There are always many vases of the things in her human household.
- Gardening. Flidais loves to grow her own fruits and vegetables, and because of her natural green thumb, she finds the task relaxing and fulfilling.
- Children. The goddess loves children and babies (both human and animal), and her maternal instinct kicks in when she is around them.
Dislikes:
- Deer Hunters. Deer are her sacred animal. She hates that they're over hunted.
- Those who hurt animals. Expect to earn the wrath of the goddess. She is a protector of animals, both domestic and wild.
- Egocentrics. Flidais really dislikes those who tend to be full of themselves. While she dislikes them, she's still very tolerant with their attitudes... to a point.
- Suffering. She hates to see people hurt and suffer.
- Infidelity. While she herself is known to get around, she dislikes when people can't be faithful to one another when it comes to actual romantic relationships.
- Shoes. She prefers to be barefoot, but in her human form, she'd look kind of weird not wearing shoes all the time.
- Trains. She feels confined while she's in a train and thinks of them as moving, metal, death traps.
- Airplanes. Nope. Just nope. She'd rather swim.
- Rudeness. It's a pet peeve of hers. Don't do it.
- Sticks in the mud. If you don't have a sense of humor, she'll tell you to grow one.
Strengths: Strong, Intelligent, Cunning, Adaptable, Confident, Diplomatic
Weaknesses:
- Can be overly protective of animals, familiars, and werecreatures because of her connection to them.
- Easily enraged when other individuals harm her forests or her "cattle". We're talking to the point that she will curse someone.
- Flidais is shy in the sense that she likes to remain emotionally distanced from others, thus creating a barrier between her and those who may aim to know the goddess better.
- She cannot stand to see any creature in pain, either physically or emotionally.
- As a goddess of sexuality, Flidais has also been known to give into her carnal desires rather easily. While she tries to remain emotionally distant, she has been known to fall hard and fast, only to have her heart broken.
Fears:
She fears that eventually, all of her forests will be wiped out.
She fears that eventually, no one will even remember who she is or was.
Goals: Flidais' current goal is to try and keep the peace between the witches and the other species in town. Her overall goal is to make sure that the forests and other nature-heavy locations in the town are protected for the sake of the towns magic.
Physical Ailments: None
Psychological Issues: None
Personality:
Intelligent - Flidais is very intelligent, and it isn't just because she's a deity. She's a naturally intelligent goddess, and she's got a mind that could rival even a deity of war, simply because of the many years she spent at the Morrigan's side in battle. She's spent many thousands of years traveling the human world and learning as she goes, and simply enjoys the knowledge that she gathers.
Intuitive - This goddess is an intuitive one. As a mother and a protector of the earth and it's creatures, she has to always be on her toes. She's very good at figuring things out and deciding what people need or if they need help. Much of her intuition can be played off as instinct, but considering her position as a deity, instinct and intuition play the same role in her mind. She's very sympathetic and good at understanding the feelings of others, and you can bet that she'll be at your side giving what comforts she can just because she feels its the right thing to do.
Playful - Flidais is a playful goddess. It ties in to her wild nature, and sets the tone for the rest of her personality. She enjoys games, fun events, doing things that may seem incredibly daring, and she even enjoys causing just a little bit of trouble. However, it's always in good fun and she never means anything cruel or mean by the jokes she makes or plays.
Kind - Flidais is a kind goddess. She always has been, and she always will be. It's very hard for her to see creatures suffer, and she's quick to jump in and help when they need it. She tends to be selfless and give people her all, regardless of whether she feels that they may deserve her kindness or not. As a healer, she's always trying to help the unfortunate, even though she's in no real position to bring them up in status. She's a helpful deity once you get past the wild and free side of her, and she won't leave anyone struggling to keep on (with the obvious exceptions of demons and all the other trouble-making creatures that she views as being pests).
Sensual - As a god of sexuality, Flidais has a very sensual nature. The very way that she moves and speaks says volumes of her character when it comes to her sexuality. When she sees someone that she wants in her bed, you can bet that she will attempt to seduce them. She enjoys serving her partners, as long as they can sate her appetites as well.
Charismatic - A charismatic woman, it is easy for Flidais to win favor with those around her. She's a very convincing woman and it's hard not to be drawn to her at times. She has an easy time with words, and could probably charm even the most reclusive of people into spending some time at her side, even if they were grumpy about it to begin with. Her friendly and open personality helps to attract her all sorts of friends and attention, and she finds it very easy make friends.
Wild - This goddess is a wild one. As a goddess of the forest and animals alike, she takes on a wild and free temperament. It seems really out of place with her kind and charismatic side, but it just means that she likes to be adventurous and free. She hates being tied down to one place and she would much rather run with the wolves than be cooped up in the cage. She's an unbreakable, untamable force of nature, and she's here to stay. Her wild nature can get her into trouble, because just like any animal, she does have a breaking point... and then she bites. And she bites hard.
Confident - Flidais is ever confident in herself about everything. She's not afraid of looking bad and she's confident enough in her abilities as a goddess to never really feel down about herself. There was a point when she wasn't as confident, and it can be a little touch and go at times, but for the most part, you'll hardly ever see this goddess be anything but sure of herself.
Motherly - Flidais is a motherly figure. As a goddess of fertility, she takes great pride in her skills as a mother. She herself is a mother of more daughters, both goddesses and demi-gods, than one could easily count. She had a single son who she doted over before he died. She cares for all of her children more than her own life, and she would do anything for all of them, regardless of what it is. When any of her children pass on, she tends to be very hurt and broken up by it.
Calculating - Flidais is a cunning and calculating woman. She's very good at working out plans and making things go her way, when she needs to. It's best not to try and fight her in a battle of wits, because more often than not, you'll lose. Her intelligence plays into her ability to battle a person with wit and intuition.
Stubborn - Flee is stubborn. If she doesn't want to do something, she won't do it. She doesn't care who you are, or what you do, she will not bow to another. Her wild and free nature keeps her from being tied down, but her stubborn nature keeps her from following the direction of any god or goddess who may think themselves above her.
Blunt - This goddess can be painfully blunt. She doesn't sugarcoat things and says the first things that come to mind quite a bit of the time. She doesn't hold back, and she refuses to. If you don't like what she says, or how she says things, because she won't hold her tongue. It's very unlike her, and besides, she often can't keep her train of thought on the fact that she has to hold her tongue. She's also too stubborn to do so.
Devious - Flidais is a devious woman. She likes to play pranks, simply because she's bored, but she can also be very devious when she's being vengeful or spiteful. She likes to think up the most creative of punishments, even if they're over the top.
Insecure - Flidais has her moments of insecurity, especially when it comes to her followers and those that used to be her followers. She's very sensitive about the fact that hardly anyone follows her anymore, though she tries not to let it get to her. She hates when you bring up the fact that she no longer has very many who follow her, and it can cause her to lose her temper, if only for a split second. She feels like she isn't strong enough or powerful enough for people to want to follow her, and this insecurity lead her to isolating herself from the world many hundred years ago.
Vengeful - This goddess can be extremely vengeful when you mess with her woodlands, animals, and children. You better watch the heck out because she can, and she will come after you. It's hard to anger her, but when you decide to try and destroy what is hers and what she holds dear, she will make you suffer. That may seem rather out of character for her, but she is a protector, and she doesn't take kindly to hurting or killing wildlife, be it nature or animals.
Spiteful - Flidais can be spiteful at times. It takes a lot to make her angry, and then that happens, she seems to become the opposite of the kind woman that she usually is. If you do something against her, her family, her domain, or her animals, and it's very terrible in nature, she can and will flip a switch. She will become spiteful, though she hates that part of herself more than anything. She's been known to spite people with the "gift" of increased fertility... which of course ruins quite a few peoples lives in the process.
Abilities:
Animal Communication/Bonding - Being a deity of animals, she seems to attract their company, no matter what form she is in. She's also obtained the ability to identify and communicate with animals.
Nature Control - As a goddess of fertility and the woodlands, nature thrives around Flidais, often yielding large and prolific crops of produce, and promoting the growth of the Earth around her.
Fertility (Fauna and Human) - She has the power to grant fertility to both humanoid beings as well as animals.
Shapeshifting - She has the ability to shape-shift into any animal or human form that she wishes, though she prefers her human form or the form of a large doe.
Healing - Being a goddess that is very close to nature, she's also a formidable and accomplished healer.
Ability Weaknesses:
Animal Communication/Bonding - She cannot "bond" with werecreatures or familiars, but she does feel strong connections to them because of their animalistic forms.
Nature Control - She cannot shape an entire forest or anything like that. She can spur the growth of the plants around her, and help trees grow individually, but it is not in her power to mass control the earth.
Fertility - She cannot grant fertility to those who are already barren cannot produce children by any means. This includes those who were surgically modified to not have children.
Healing - She cannot bring people back to life, reattach limbs, or anything absolutely extreme. She can, however, bring people and animals back from the brink of death and heal diseases, as well as help with minor injuries.
Deity Weaknesses - Flidais has the same basic weaknesses that all deity's possess, usually to the power of Reapers.
History:
Nothing is known about how Flidais came to be. She simply just... was. And she was a Lady of the Forest. The goddess of woodlands, animals both domesticated and wild, the hunt, fertility, and sexuality. She was highly regarded among her fellow members of the pantheon, and among the subjects who prayed to her. She spent much of her time looming among the wilds and protecting her home from over-hunting. Those who encroached on her forests and broke her rules were punished. She refused to tolerate the over-hunting of lives that she was supposed to be protecting.
She had, and still has, a herd of magical cattle that she leaves in the heavenly realm for their protection, as well as a chariot that is drawn by deer, her sacred animal. When she was a goddess who roamed the lands of Earth, they would travel with her, helping people along the way. When war broke out and Flidais was called on for aid, her herds could produce milk for entire armies, even though she tried to avoid picking a side in any battle. She was eventually married to legendary High King Adamair and mothered a demi-god son by the name of Nia Segamain, who later passed away after being murdered years later. Flidais had many other lovers, however, and bore quite a few daughters, both demi-god and goddess alike. Her most famous daughter is Fand, a celtic goddess of the seas.
After her husband died, she struggled to move on. She had a lively affair with the Fae King Oberon, which ended promptly when he fell in love with his Queen, and produced a single daughter. However, he knows nothing about her.
Flidais took very good care of her children, her forests, her animals, and her subjects. When the falling out happened, and people stopped worshiping her, Flidais fell into a funk. She was so used to being looked upon for guidance and help that the fact that hardly anyone worshiped her any longer hurt her both mentally and emotionally. She never neglected her remaining subjects, but they too eventually moved on to worship other gods. In her grief, Flidais attempted to isolate herself from both the human and the heavenly realms. It took quite a bit of coaxing, but Fand was able to pull her mother out of her grief and thrust her back into the workings of the world.
Since then, Flidais had been wandering the Earth, never staying in one place for too long and learning everything she can about the humans and other supernatural creatures. That was, however, until she found herself upon the site of what is now Hallow Oaks. Before she found the forest that once covered the whole area, it was dying and infertile. The deity took great care of the forest, springing it back to life over the course of a few years. When settlers settled within her forests, forming the town of Hallow Oaks, she presented herself as one of them. Over the years, she has been a persistent force to protect her home. She has revealed herself as a deity many a time to ensure that her word is followed and her forests weren't destroyed. She let them build their town, but she kept a close eye on the dealings of the leaders.
Flidais is still around Hallow Oaks and is one of the local Veterinarians for the city. She deals heavily with the protection of the forest, always making a point to go against any plans that could cause it danger, thus why the main part of town is free from the industrial heaven that plagues the shoreline of the town.
