History
A man of ambition and self-worship, Atmen Bakhoum is the Vampire Originator, and self-appointed god. Born in Egypt he was the son of an influential man within the royal family. Obsessed with his own survival he used the Book of the Dead to make himself immortal and thus created the First Vampire. For the Original only witch blood can satisfy his hunger, as a former witch himself he often feels the blood of his kin grants him the powers and connection to the magic he had once lost. His children, however, feed on just about anyone.
After his "rebirth", Atmen began to build an army. In his journeys he sought out the most powerful witches in the Western Hemisphere and turned them using his own blood and granted them nobility status. These nobles are the ruling force of the vampire community and are designated one to each continent.
He is known to take on several lovers and grants them abilities by giving them his blood. To him, his blood is considered sacred and only given to those he deems worthy. Every noble who pledges loyalty to him must ingest his blood.There is a noble for each continent and currently Nykolae Sovereign is the noble in America who is secretly spying on the Duke and Lockwood families for Atmen who makes it his life's work to keep tabs on strong witch families.
