The offspring of a vampire and a human, the Dhampir inherit all of their fathers abilities and none of their weaknesses, making them successful vampire killers. Despite helping humans, they have been ridiculed and misunderstood because of their blood, and have become almost as feared as their fathers. Because of this Dhampir most always spend their life as rogues and nomads, rejected by both humans and vampires--vampires due to weakness, humans due to fear of the Dhampirs' strength.
