Ancestral/Spirit Magic - This magic draws upon the power of the natural energy surrounding the witch, the spirits, and deceased witches within the allotted area. This magic is extremely limited in the case that the spirits have complete control over the magic used by the witch, and if the witch decides to abuse this power can lose it at the spirits will.
Dark Magik - Dark Magik can be attributed to the corruption of humans by demonic hands. This magik is used mainly for ill-intent and to cause harm to the witches enemies. This is considered Dark Magik because it is one of the few types of magic to go against the balance of nature.
Deity Magic - This magic is extremely rare considering most ancient deities have either went into hiding or died out. A witch who proclaims loyalty to a certain deity can be granted with that deities specific abilities, and through that deities will can perform feats often considered “Divine”.
Goetic Magick - Goetic Magick is the art of summoning spirits, demons, jinn, angels, and elementals. The purpose of Goetic Magick varies depending upon the entity being summoned. The jinn can carry objects anywhere on the earth and return with information. The angels can act as the Goete’s guardian angel. The demons are able to perform a wide variety of tasks including causing or curing diseases, fetching information, causing or destroying love, and favor of high persons, slaying the enemies of the Goetes, giving familiar spirits, or telling the nature of the fall from heaven. Goetic spirits are all of varying nature and temperament, ranging from fawning and obedient to fierce and defiant.
Necromancy - Much like Voodoo and Dark Magik, Necromancy is a mixture of both. Necromancers can not only summon the dead and force them to do their bidding, they can also trap or contain another witch’s power, or even the witch itself, and draw from their power within a rune engraved box or amulet.
Natural Magic - Generally recognized as the most powerful type of magic, Natural Magic draws its power from Mother Nature itself and the Balance. Though this type can be very powerful it also holds it’s limitations and if abused by a witch can cause repercussions to not only the witch in question, but to her coven and descendants as well.
Traditional Magic - Very much like Natural Magic, Traditional Magic is one of the most widely used types but can be used as the witch sees fit. A witch practicing in Traditional Magi can draw upon the energy of nature around her or upon her own energy or that of her coven, though this can be very exhausting.
Voodoo - Though viewed as black magic by most, unlike Dark Magik and Necromancy, Voodoo can also be used for healing and protection purposes. The source of a Voodoo Queen or Bokor’s magic comes from the entities known as the Loa, and through their power can either heal the sick through prayer or curse through hex’s.
